Filming for the movie is expected to begin in May.
While in Rochdale, Mr Noor also paid a visit to the Multicultural Arts and Media Centre. He said: "I was delighted to see how much the centre has achieved in the work of performing arts.
"I am looking forward to helping local young people, actors and technicians".
Mr Aslam said: "This would be an excellent opportunity to work with a professional director".
They will begin auditions with Mohammed Sawar from the Arts and Media Centre and a professional panel made up of people who have been working to provide opportunities for the community.
