FOLLOWING the success of his last two single releases ‘Nach Ke [Bhangra Bounce]’ featuring Swiss and VDublE and ‘Loveless’ featuring AG Dolla and Sef, D-Boy returns to make it a hat trick!

The hot Michael Jackson mash up mix of ‘Nach Ke’ is now available on the next DMC compilation and the groundbreaking British producer is releasing an experimental single ‘Tu Bataja’ featuring one of the best Punjabi singers this country has seen.

‘Tu Bataja’ is D-Boy’s take on a Hindi language song penned by a Punjabi artist with R&B production sensibilities and a sprinkling of Ghazal style.

"Tu Bataja has to be one of the strongest tracks on the album. I began sketching musical ideas for the track and Des-C had great ideas for a story about forgiving a person who has been unfaithful and the pain involvedin the process," said D-boy.

"I loved the lyrical idea, especially the vocal combination of Hindi, Urdu,and a slight element of Qawali.

"Playback is all about expression and creatingsomething new,  'Tu Bataja' is exactly that," he added.

The new big budget video for the single features Big Brothers Maysoon Shaladi and is shot with a brand spanking new approach for Asian music videos and is ready to really raise the bar.

The groundbreaking multi lingual and multi genre album ‘Playback Volume1’, has already found champions for the sound at BBC Radio 1,The Asian Network, Kiss Radio, Pyro Radio and more.

D-Boy [aka Daniel Naqui] has already notched up hits and produced ‘Shi-ology’ for Sharifa Shi an independent R&B album that has had a lot of love across clubland in Europe. He also won the British Academy of Songwriters and Composers ‘Overall Best Song’ in 2005 and second place for best song with the Songwriters Academy.

Earlier this year, he produced ‘Look 4 Me’ for British female artist Hard Kaur. The single has gone on to become anthemic in India and remained in the top five position in the Indian charts for eight weeks!
