A MAN who died after being stabbed during a disturbance in Wigan has been formally identified.
Parwar Mulad, aged 23, of Silverdale Road, Bolton, died as a result of a single stab wound to the chest.
Shortly after 1.45am on Sunday 16 November 2008, police were called to Bolton Road, Ashton in Makerfield, following reports of a disturbance.
Officers attended and found three men had been stabbed.
They were taken to hospital for treatment but Parwar later died.
The other two men have since been discharged from hospital.
A 27-year-old man arrested on suspicion of murder and wounding with intent remains in police custody for questioning.
