Two people have been injured in a traffic collision in Oldham.
Shortly after midday today police were called to Roscoe Street, near its junction with Waterloo Street, following a report of a collision between two cars.
A 49-year-old man and a 43-year-old woman have been taken to the Royal Oldham Hospital.
Their injuries are not believed at this stage to be life threatening, but the woman is more seriously injured than the man.
Roscoe Street and Union Street are now closed and are likely to remain closed for the next few hours.
Traffic police are appealing for witnesses to call them on 0161 856 8809.
