SACHIN Tendulkar has been named in the India team for the remaining four one-day internationals against England.
Tendulkar, who is the world's leading run-scorer in Test cricket, opted out of the first three one-dayers following the tiring Test series against Australia, but had declared his availability for the remaining matches.
Murali Vijay, who did not play in any of the first three matches, has been dropped to make way for Tendulkar, while medium-pace bowler RP Singh is also left out in favour of Irfan Pathan.
Tendulkar has not played a one-dayer since the CB Series in Australia in January, missing the tri-nation series in Bangladesh, the Asia Cup in Pakistan and the one-day series in Sri Lanka with injuries.
England need to win all four remaining games after India took a 3-0 lead in the seven-match series by winning the third one-dayer in Kanpur today on Duckworth-Lewis.
