'Disgusted' at Straw visit

For the first time I felt had to write in concerning Jack Straw's visit to Rochdale and the spin that went along with it.

Jack Straw visited Castlemere Community Centre. As a life long Labour supporter I am in absolute shock at the red carpet that the Castlemere Community Centre rolled out to Straw.

Citizenship proposals will not resolve young people’s apathy nor solve their problems

The Ramadhan Foundation is concerned that Lord Goldsmith’s proposals on citizenship will not help young people engage in communities and help resolve their many problems.

The Ramadhan Foundation totally condemns the Israeli aggression and oppression being carried out in Gaza, with over 70 people dead, many children and innocent people there is a quiet silence from the international community which is deeply flawed and worrying.

No votes for Ahmadiyya Muslims

I write in relation to the elections which took place in Pakistan yesterday.  Senior members of the Pakistani Government claimed they were conducted freely and fairly but in fact this is a myth.
