Israel is once again engaged in war crimes in Gaza, world is silent
3/ 3/2008
The Ramadhan Foundation totally condemns the Israeli aggression and oppression being carried out in Gaza, with over 70 people dead, many children and innocent people there is a quiet silence from the international community which is deeply flawed and worrying.
There can be no justification for the continue oppression and discriminate killing that is carried out and we urge the international community to speak against this evil and ensure that the voices of innocent Palestinians are not silenced.
Israel has engaged in war crimes, what purpose is served by killing women and children? The Israeli’s must recognise that there continued occupation of Palestinian land is the sole reason why there is instability in the region.
We are horrified and saddened by the deaths of many innocent people including women and children in Gaza, it is once again clear that Israel is engaged in committing war crimes and we strongly condemn these actions – we send our deepest condolences and prayers to those that are suffering in Gaza.
The Ramadhan Foundation urges the international community not to remain silent and condemn these crimes and urge the Israelis to stop their occupation and continued oppression of the Palestinian people.
We must all stand up against this evil, whatever our faith or background.

As a life long Labour supporter I am in absolute shock at the red carpet that the Castlemere Community Centre Manager, Hafiz Malik rolled out to Jack Straw MP. Jack Straw was the Foreign Minister who presided on the fateful decision to send our troops into the illegal war in Iraq. This decision led to the slaughter of over 2 million Muslims – as well the deaths of dozens of our troops. I was led to believe that local Labour were against the invasion. The visit of Jack Straw sends a clear message that this is simply not the case. I will never vote Labour again and it appears that many of my peers will never do so again. The repercussions of this illegal invasion are still going on and I am absolutely disgusted to see our so called leaders from the Muslim community and members of the Labour Party apparently condoning his actions. This is a slap in the face for everyone in Rochdale and it will not be forgotten. Not a week goes by when we don’t hear of further British casualties or indeed more innocent people dying. Don’t these people care about humanity? The Labour Party locally have made a huge mistake – one that may not cost lives but one that will forever link them to the disgraceful situation in Iraq.
