British force determined Africa
1/11/2004
It would be wrong for me to pre-judge the role of Mark Thatcher
and others in the alleged plot to overthrow an independent African
government, or even to weigh up the merits of its current dictator
or an alternative dictator however it does throw into the spotlight
the role of UK political leaders, financiers and the use of force
to determine the shape of African governments to secure advantages
over raw materials vital to the global economy.
We have long argued that tax payers money is being abused to prop
up third world dictators and the role of our so called defence
industries is to agitate international conflict to secure
sales.
Britain must stop its role in third world conflicts by ending the
arms trade to dictators and redirect those resources into
economically beneficial investment.
Those who bleat endlessly about asylum seekers should consider how
much British industries, politicians and financiers have brought
about theconflicts causing the refugees in the first
place.
