Peace campers evicted from Parliament Square
20/ 8/2007
The Greater London Authority have erected a 'security' fence
around Parliament Square and evicted peace campaigners who were
there in support of Brian Haw and his five-year long protest
against the wars and occupations of Iraq and Afghanistan.
"Apparently the camp is a 'public health hazard', but the real
danger to public health is across the road from the Square where
the government and its parliamentary majority have consistently
supported the killing of hundreds of thousands of people."
