David Johnson

A FORMER amateur musician, Mr David Johnson, of Pennine Road, Bacup, died at home last Wednesday, aged 58.

Born in Ancoats and living most of his life in Langley, Mr Johnson moved to Bacup 24 years ago.

He became an apprentice motor mechanic before becoming an electrical engineer and retiring due to ill health.

Mr Johnson was a family man and enjoyed bird watching, painting and singing karaoke.

He leaves his wife Margaret Anne, son David, daughters Tracy, Michelle and Lisa, grandchildren Rachel, Scott and Davis, sisters Janet and Susan and nephews.

His funeral is today (Friday) when Mr Eddie Joyce conducts a service and cremation at Burnley at 10.40am.
