James Gerrard

HGV driver for most of his working life Mr James Gerrard, of Hammond Avenue, Stacksteads, died at Fairfield Hospital, Bury, aged 78.

He had previously served in the Royal Artillery.

Mr Gerrard leaves his sons Kevin, Steven, Mark and Keith, daughter Angela, daughters-in-law Ruth, Edna, Carol and Janine, 14 grandchildren, brother-in-law Brian and his wife Megan and their daughters Ann and Madeleine.

His funeral was on Friday 25 July when the Rev David Livermore led a service at the chapel of rest at 10am before interment at Bacup cemetery at 10.45am.
