Steven Henson

FORMER member of St John’s Scout Group, Bacup, Mr Steven Adrian Henson, of Hoghton Avenue, Bacup, died at home on Monday 28 July, aged 41.
A foreman for Galliford Try Construction for four years, Mr Henson also previously worked for the water board.
As a member of St John’s Scout Group, Bacup, for many years he gained a Queens Scout Award, which was presented to him by the Queen; he was also a drummer for the 2nd Rossendale Scout Group Band.
Son of the late Peter, he leaves his wife Stephanie, son Scott, daughter Lauren, mother Beryl, mother-in-law Marion along with a nephew, cousin and many friends.
His funeral takes place on Thursday 7 August when Ann Rhodes will conduct a service and cremation at Burnley at 2.20pm.
Family flowers only with donations to St John’s Scout Group, Bacup, c/o funeral director: Graham Holt for Knight and Boys Funeral Service, Stacksteads.
