Open audition for new ITV musical drama series

ITV is looking for talented Asian performers for their new programme Britannia High.
Producers are looking for genuinely exceptional, diverse young performers, post GCSE and who look between the ages of 16-18 years.
Youngsters must be appealing, charismatic, natural actors who can dance powerfully in any style and must be an excellent singer or musician.
Applicants should come prepared to sing a modern pop song and may also be asked to dance to a choreographed routine and perform scenes which will be provided.
People under the age of 16 (or pre-GCSE) will not be considered and therfore all applicants must bring a passport or driving licene as proof of ID.
Auditions will take place 12 and 13 January at The London Welsh Centre, 157-163 Gray's Inn Road, London WC1X 8UE.

Britannia High is an eight-episode drama series directed by Brian Grant with music written by world renowned songwriters.
It is set in a performing arts college, and will feature around eight principal performers who represent a wide range of ethnic and regional backgrounds.
The drama series will rehearse from mid May and will be filmed between June – December 2008.
Following transmission of the series there will be a stage show which will tour the UK in 2009.
In addition those of the performers who are talented singers will receive recording contracts.
