India's version of Strictly Come Dancing keeps viewers glued

Who said the fun and excitement had to stop when the clock struck midnight on New Year’s Eve?
After a blockbuster 2007, leading Asian satellite channel network, STAR TV, guarantees another year of entertaining, addictive and celebrity packed television with the launch of STAR Voice of India and the return of Nach Baliye, India’s answer to the hit BBC 1 dance show Strictly Come Dancing, this month exclusively on STAR Plus.
In its search to discover that ‘one true voice’, India’s answer to ITV 1’s X Factor, STAR Voice of India, which started on 5 January and broadcastinf on Saturday and Sunday at 7.30pm, promises days of grind and tough sessions ahead, where 32 undiscovered talented voices will fight it out to the finals, for their one dream chance to become the ‘STAR Voice of India’.
Hosted by the singing supremo and hugely popular Shaan, STAR Voice of India uncovers never before seen or heard talent, fighting tough and sweating high in an intense, exhilarating, power-packed competition as they perform in front of a panel offive esteemed judges - Alka Yagnik, Jatin, Abhijeet Bhattacharya, Aadesh Shrivastava and Lalit Pandit.
Also on STAR Plus is series three of high-energy, live wire show Nach Baliye.
Nach Baliye three will capture the drama and emotional journey of 10 celebrity couples from the small and silver screen through a high powered dance competition, where they will compete to impress three A-list celebrity judges - the sensational actress Isha Koppikar, ace director David Dhawan and promising choreographer Vaibhav Merchant – with their Bollywood jhatkas.
This year the show will also feature special performances and appearances by Bollywood’s glitterati, who will grace the show.
The stakes are high this year with the theme being "Yeh Nach Nahin Aasaan" (Dance is Far From Easy), and so the show will test the dancing mettle of each celebrity couple to the limits.
The ten celebrity couples competing, which, include Raakhi Sawant, Kashmeera Shah, Shakti Kapoor and Pooja Bedi, will team up with up-coming choreographers to compete against each other for the grand prize. Each week, the couples will have to perform on challenging themes that will be given to them, which will test their dancing skills and their choreographer's imagination.
