12/ 8/2008
TAZ from Streo Nation, Raghav and Mona Singh were just some of the top acts that lead the crowds into a huge frenzy at this year’s Asian Network London Mela which was held at Gunnersbury Park over the weekend.
There were seven zones with urban, classical and experimental music, DJs, circus, dance, visual arts, comedy, children’s area, food from around the world and a giant funfair
Fans were able to catch the hottest and most popular Asian artists around.
Hosted by the BBC Asian Network’s best known DJs, the stage has something for every generation and featured some favourite artists from previous years as well as the new breed of UK Asian artists emerging from the underground into the mainstream.
