Punch, Shisha, Kranti Media, the University of Manchester and Contact present Bollywood Stills. The world’s first exhibition of Bollywood actions stills. Drawing on the large archives from Kamat Foto Flash in Mumbai, India, the exhibition charts the history of the action stills production process from its heyday in the seventies and eighties to its transformation into digital photography.

This is a Northern International Theatre presentation: A popular entertainer struggles to restore his damaged memory by going over his life and times. All he can recall is darkness and fear. His colleague pushes him to face the past. They replay their old sketches – darkly funny, poignant, and tragic - prompting blazing insights into his present circumstances. Northern International Theatre came together specifically to present The Burma Play as a means of drawing attention to the plight of the Burmese people. It is a story told with flair, biting humour and original live music that sprints through the long history of the 20th century to bring the nightmare of Burma bang up to date.
