GOURMET or glutton, the 10th Manchester Food And Drink Festival is in town, bigger and better than ever.

A decade on from its small-scale beginnings, the mega eatfest - sponsored by the Co-operative and in association with the M.E.N. - has its toe in 10 districts.

What a load of pap, I went down there on Saturday lunchtime, a couple of stands selling fudge and not much more. Ive seen better food stalls at the fair in heaton park!

Dearly want to support the Festival; but the organisation makes it hard. Tickets for tonight's 'grill the Chefs' event were not even printed up to yesterday. Hope Neil and all get a good turnout.
