Bollywood action hero Akshay Kumar escapes deathtrap experience with sharks

BOLLYWOOD action man, Akshay Kumar, had a close shave with 19 sharks while shooting in the Bahamas for his latest film, Blue.
Renowned for doing all of his own film stunts, the Bollywood superstar was diving at a depth of 75 feet for a stunt with sharks, when he banged his head on the side of a ship wreck and started bleeding.
In a state of emergency, the sharks were quickly herded back into their cages.
This year sees Akshay return to the action genre which first gained him notoriety in the Bollywood film industry.
His forthcoming blockbuster release, Singh Is Kinng, is a high octane thriller that features some of the most breathtaking action sequences ever to be seen in Bollywood. Filmed on location on Australia’s Gold Coast, Singh Is Kinng releases on 8th August 2008.
