ONE of the biggest money-spinners of 2008, Singh is Kinng has added another feather in its cap by winning a nomination in the best foreign language film category at the forthcoming RAAM Awards.
The blockbuster, released by The Indian Film Company - Studio 18, will be contending for the award along with Spanish film, El Orfanato (The Orphanage).
The RAAM Awards, which is to be held in February in London, enjoy a unique position within the UK & Ireland cinema sector. These awards provide an opportunity for UK and Irish exhibitors, distributors and industry suppliers to recognise and reward success and achievement across all parts of the cinema industry.
Said head of UK & Europe, Studio 18, Tanuj Garj: "The nomination is an endorsement of our passion and marketing and distribution strength that has resulted in our films consistently excelling at the box office.
