New face of L'Oreal - Aishwarya
Worth it?

FORMER Miss World Aishwarya Rai is trying to demonstrate she is
'worth it' as the new face of beauty brand L'Oreal Paris.
The Indian movie star who is tipped to become the next Bond girl
has joined the glamorous but smug L'Oreal group.
It usually uses aging high-profile beauties to suggest that
wrinkles, grey hairs are something to do with being poor, which
they are not and therefore afford to plaster themselves with the
L'Oreal creams.
French film star, gorgeous pensioner and L'Oreal ambasadoress
Catherine Deneuve welcomed Aishwarya onto the sales team.
A spokesman for L'Oreal said Aishwarya personifies the L'Oreal
Paris woman displaying beauty, sophistication, charm, modernity,
confidence and reluctance to settle for anything but the best (is
that all).
Said Aishwarya: "I am absolutely delighted and very excited to be
associated with L'Oreal Paris. The brand's tag line "because I'm
worth it" has always been close to my heart."
Aishwarya has come along way since winning the Miss World Pageant
in 1994.
In a short span of five years she has starred in over a dozen
movies and has been nominated for several awards in
Bollywood.
Her starring role in 'Devdas' revealed her talent and charm. She is
now involved in an Anglo-Indian up-dated version of Jane Austen's
classic 'Pride and Prejudice' directed by Gurinder Chada of 'Bend
It Like Beckham' fame. She will play the brainy and spirited
heroine Elzabeth Bennett.
She recently became the first Indian actress to be invited on the
jury of the Cannes film festival this year and may soon make her
break in Hollywood if she lands 007.
