Barsaat is the sublime love story of three young people caught in a vortex of love they have no control over. Their love story is like the rain.. unpredictable yet welcome, torrential yet life giving.

Barsaat is the story of Arav (Bobby Deol) who is ambitious enough to leave home and hearth to seek his fortune abroad but sentimental enough to drop everything and rush back on hearing his father is unwell.

Barsaat is the story of Kajal (Priyanka Chopra) who believes that love is a gentle shower of emotions. Her love is about cashing the rainbows of memories and she knows that her faith in love will stand the test of time.

Barsaat is the story of Anna (Bipasha Basu) who believes that love strikes like lightning. Her love is a sudden and passionate downpour that she knows will carry away all obstacles that come in the way.

And however overcast the skies may be there is always the hope of finding a rainbow beyond the clouds.

That's what Arav, Anna and Kajal must believe in. For that's what will see them through the stormiest of circumstances... their belief and faith that sunshine and happiness lie on the other side of the darkest of nights.
