salaams there.to the editor please if u are muslim learn what Allah swt has said regarding enjoying the good and forbidding the evil.personally u need to go aread up on islam and forbid this filth u are sending to muslim shops and businesses.and if u are not muslim then i guess theres not much more we can expect from yourself.women in the west(non muslims) believe they have rights by selling there bodies and dipslaying there external beauty.filth at it seens has u feeling u have freedom ,but its a shame u dont realisethe menatlity of man! he will only love for pleasures sake not who u really are u sickos......cover up and be modest as these are the women who are reallly freee.....

hi. im all for womens rights and equality and empowerment, but not as far as her picture. that is disgrace and selling wrongly. with images like that her messages wont be noticed just her looks and figure.and dont you dare call yourself a muslim and wear that. you dont know the meaning of the word. it means submission to HIM and all that HE decrees including dressing modestly. but i suppose that in itself has room for debate- what is Modest these days????

It is all relative and Deeyah's music/personna is a point of reference in the pop culture evolution.

I wish her all the best and hope that Allah does protect all His children.

In reply to the comment from lola london, koran is not something that you can update so that it makes your life easier to live. You may do that with the bible but not with the koran. what is the point of updating, you are just taking history away from the religion and it's belief. What this Deeyah is doing is completly against our religion, she knows that and every other muslim knows it. As much as like i her it's something that we cannot accept. Why do you have to always mention terroism with islam, i could go on but i know people like you won't understand so therefore wont waste my time on you. I suggest you should think carefully beofre you open your mouth.

This is a response to lola, you truly are a disgrace wanting to disrespect an amazing woman like Deeyah is just beyond me, you really need to direct your hate and anger to the actual things that need addressing. Like why is it terrorists derive from Islam? Stand tall and voice your opinion on trying to put an end to that, not wasting it on Deeyah who is clearly idolised by people all over the world for her bold stanse on addressing the truths. And in my very own opinion i think the quaraan needs updating ...
