Search For Unsigned Talent comes to Manchester!

BT Digital Music Awards has launched its search for the best new artists and will be coming to Manchester to check out all the acts.
A selection of bands will perform in front of crowds at the The Great Northern on 7 and 8 September in the run up to the eagerly anticipated BT Digital Music Awards in October,
For unsigned bands, wannabe solo artists or up and coming DJs, this opportunity to be heard by thousands of music fans at one of two exclusive outdoor gigs is designed to provide a platform for local talent to show what they are really made of and cause a stir in their local community.
As part of the initiative, artists and bands from all genres of music are invited to visit www.btdma.com <http://www.btdma.com> and upload a track[1] onto the BT Digital Music Awards website.
All entries will be downloaded and judged by an expert panel who will select winners. With bands being selected to perform, this is a great opportunity for artists of any age to get involved and share their talent.
And if you are not a performer, this is a great chance to support the local talent in your community. All gigs are open to the public, so do come along to enjoy the experience.
All Manchester entries need to be uploaded by 24th August 2007 and tracks must be submitted in mpeg format.
