It couldn't be more Posh

BACKSTAGE at the M.E.N. Arena doesn't get much more glam than this. Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria joined her pal Victoria Beckham and the reunited Spice Girls for a good old gossip backstage ahead of their opening night in Manchester.

Eva, in a white robe dress, caused a real stir when she headed into the Arena and Spice fans rushed to get pics of the Hollywood beauty.

She then took her place on the front row at the sold-out concert to watch, alongside Victoria's footballer hubby David Beckham.

Channel M's Gemma Gofton was also in the plum seats and told me it was so sweet to watch lovestruck Goldenballs.

The Style in the City presenter said: "David sang all the words to the songs and he couldn't take his eyes off Victoria the whole way through." Ahh.

Scary Spice Melanie B was also a happy bunny on the opening night - as her new husband Stephen Belafonte was cheering and waving on the front row with her baby daughter Angel on his shoulders.

The reunited girlgroup could hardly contain their joy at returning to Manchester as a fivesome.

Mel B said: "Northerners always do it better", while baby Spice, Emma Bunton, said: "I love Manchester because this is where I met my Jade (Jones, her fiance)."

Other celebs at the Wednesday concert included Take That's Jason Orange, Corrie love-birds Alan Halsall and Lucy-Jo Hudson, Chris Bisson and, rather randomly, TV presenter Carol Smillie.

More stars were expected at last night's gig - including Becks' footy pals Gary and Phil Neville.

And I hear a massive after-party was being planned at cool city centre bar Panacea straight afterwards.
