Looking good and staying healthy

Assalamu Alaykum readers.
Today I'm going to talk to you about a relevantly new therapy. It is called the Metamorphic Technique and is a simple approach to self-healing and personal development. It is traced back to the 1960s to the work of a British naturopath and reflexologist, Robert St John.
As a result of our often busy lifestyles we tend to get stuck in particular patterns and so we cannot fully realise our potential. These patterns can show up in different ways, physically, emotionally or as repeating patterns of behaviour.
Underneath these external symptoms it is said there are corresponding patterns of energy. The Metamorphic Technique acts as a catalyst to this energy - which practitioners term as 'life force' enabling us to transform these patterns and begins to move us from what we are, to what we could be.
So what does the technique involve? Using light touch on points known as 'spinal reflexes' in the feet, hands and head, the treatment is essentially concerned with restoring the body's balance. The technique is gentle, non-invasive and can be used on its own, or alongside conventional medicine or complimentary therapies.
A session lasts for one hour. The client removes his her shoes and socks and may either sit or lie. The practitioner does not seek to address specific problems. Often clients feel energised, relaxed after a treatment. An environment is created in which the client's life force is free to do what is needed and so the person is empowered to his or her own healer.
As their energy shifts, some clients may experience past symptoms or emotional upsets over a day or two. This is part of the process of bringing up old patterns to be released. Whilst the life force would bring about those shifts it is immediately noticeable, whilst in others they are more subtle.
These changes can range from significant improvements in physical, mental or emotional health or having more energy and confidence, releasing old habits, or gradually letting go of past hurt. Above all, it is said that the metamorphic technique is suitable for anyone who wishes to make changes that will enhance their quality of life.
