Probe at school as swine flu strikes

A HYNDBURN schoolboy is the first person in East Lancashire to contract swine flu.

Eleven-year-old Qaasim Pervaiz, a pupil at Hyndburn Park Primary School, Church, was confirmed as having the illness by doctors on Sunday after numerous tests ruled out the the deadly brain bug meningitis.
