New pharmacy opens

THIS is the team behind Huncoat’s newest asset, Huncoat Pharmacy.
Arti Manchha, 28, and her business partner Sarju Patel opened their new chemist on Station Road this week.
Miss Manchha said: “We were granted planning permission more than a year ago but we have been struggling to find premises.
"We did consider the other side of the village close to the Within Grove estate but decided on Station Road as it was closer to the busy chip shop and newsagent’s."
The Pharmacy, part of the Numark chain, will be run by pharmacist Gaz Patel, and will hopefully recruit more staff from the local area.
