A roaring success

1/ 9/2006

TWO tigresses were the main attraction at the opening of a new Asian eatery in Bolton.

The slinky females, Keelia and Katie-Beth prowling around VIPs at the Green Bengal restaurant in Bromley Cross.

Owner Zia Choudhury, invited over 200 guests including Bolton Wanderer's manager, 'big' Sam Allardyce, the Mayor and Mayoress of Bolton and Senegalese Bolton striker El-Hadji Diouf.

A donation of £1,000 to Sam's chosen FITC Drugs and Awareness charity kicked off a raffle which also helped raise money for the Mayor's charity, Bolton Hospice.

Said Zia "We have worked incredibly hard to get this venture off the ground and it has been overwhelming to receive such a high level of support."

"It was just purr-fect!"

Our picture shows the two cats with Sam and Zia.

hya, we have worked at the resturant since it opened and we think that the lads have done a good job turning the old run down vol pub into a appeling resturant. Even tho there is a few complaints about the service we think in general it is very good. well done zia and team!!!!!!
