New shop... two years later

19/ 4/2008

A MANCHESTER shopkeeper who was forced to trade from a temporary cabin at the heart of a muddy building site for two-and-a-half years has finally moved into a new store.

Nisar Ahmed opened the Grove Village Convenience Store in temporary buildings on Devonshire Street South, Longsight, in 2005, after pleas by residents for the council not to take away their shops.

Good luck Nisar. I am sure it's been well worth the long wait.
