GCSE pupils tore open their result envelopes at KD Grammar School in Whalley Range.
The students were thrilled with their results as they joined together with friends to celebrate their successes.
Pictured (right) are just some of the boys outside the school on Alexandra Road South as they proudly showed each other their result certificates.
Headteacher Mona Mohamed said: "We are very pleased with this years’ results."
