Degree success for mum-of-two

MOTHER-of-two Farzana Nazir has gained a first-class BA honours degree in health and applied social studies from John Moores University, Liverpool.
Farzana, 25, lives in Primrose Street, Accrington, with her husband Gul, who is studying for a plumbing qualification, and their two sons aged six and three.
She is the daughter of Nazir Begum of Higher Antley Street, Accrington, and the late Mohammed Nazir.
Educated at Spring Hill Primary School and The Hollins High School, Accrington, Farzana is currently studying for a Postgraduate Certificate in Education at the University of Central Lancashire.
She is also teaching at two colleges and hopes to do a Masters Degree in the near future.
She has a passion for Urdu language and literature and a general enthusiasm for reading and spending time with her children.
