Wife bailed over husband's death

A woman arrested in connection with the murder of her husband in Pakistan has been rebailed by detectives.


Yasira Pervez, 23, and 45-year-old Ian Priddle were arrested as they stepped off a plane at Manchester Airport on New Year's Eve 2006.


Their arrests followed the murder of Khurum Mukhtar, 21, in a hotel room in Rawalpindi. Mr Mukhtar was found in a pool of blood after being stabbed several times.


It is believed that Ms Pervez wed Mr Mukhtar, her cousin, in an arranged marriage in Pakistan in 2005.


Ms Pervez and Mr Priddle were rebailed until June 16.
