Police appeal for serial flasher

POLICE in Wythenshawe are hunting a flasher who has exposed himself to women in the Poundswick, Brownley Road, Woodhouse Park and Moss Nook areas.
Officers believe one man is responsible for the four incidents.
In each case a man, described as Asian, in his late 30s, between 5ft 7in and 5ft 9in tall and of medium build, has fully exposed himself to women.
Sergeant Andy Worthington from the area policing team said: "Our intention is to alert not alarm members of the community. The women were quite shocked by this incident and I am keen to trace the man responsible.
"I would appeal to anyone that knows who is responsible or who may have seen a man matching the description to contact police.
"I would also ask other people to be wary of this incident and to follow basic safety advice, like avoid walking alone at night if possible."

The incidents include:
- Finney Lane, Moss Nook between 8am and 8.15 am on 4 October 2007.
- Greenwood Road, Poundswick, between 8.45pm and 8.50pm on 20 December 2007.
- Brownley Road, Sharston, at 10.30pm on 6 February 2008.
- Woodhouse Park at 10.15pm on 23 February 2008.
