Taxi driver robbed

POLICE has released CCTV stills of three men they would like to speak to after a taxi driver was robbed in Salford.

The 53-year-old victim picked three men up from Tesco in Walkden just after midnight on Thursday 14 February 2008.

As the car approached Brydon Close in Pendleton the offenders grabbed the taxi driver and stole cash, before getting out of the car and running away.

One of the offenders is described as white, aged 16 to 20 years old, 5ft 4in tall and of thin build. He was clean-shaven with short shaven brown hair. A second offender is described as white, aged 20 to 25 years old, 5ft 7in to 5ft 8in tall and of medium build. He was also clean-shaven with short brown hair. The third offender is described as white, aged 20 to 25 years old, 5ft 6in tall and of stocky build. He was clean-shaven with short black wavy hair and was wearing a dark coloured jacket.

The victim was left extremely shaken by the ordeal.
