Thugs threaten staff with guns

GUN-wielding hooded thugs threatened staff and stole cash from a petrol station as it was preparing to close.
Terrified workers at Sainsbury's station, in Wilmslow Road, Heald Green, gave the men, who were Asian, the contents of the till after being confronted in the early hours of yesterday morning.
Det Insp Kevin Dolan, of Stockport CID, said: "The staff were simply going about their job and certainly did not expect to be staring down the barrel of a gun. Fortunately nobody was injured, but it was a frightening experience.
"They are clearly dangerous men and are prepared to use a firearm in order to get their hands on cash."
