Community sentence for benefits cheat

A BENEFITS cheat will have to pay up after a council was granted an order to confiscate his assets.
Fouja Singh, of Gorse Hill, admitted providing false tenancy details and was overpaid benefit totalling more than £17,050 between April 2001 and February 2005.
He was given a 200-hour community punishment order in February.
