FROM ancient to modern, the Nadeem family has left a Victorian house to be the first to move into a bespoke home at Suthers Court in Oldham.
Part of Keepmoat Homes’ revitalisation of the area, the Nadeem’s five bedroom, three storey property is one of the builders’ latest designs, to form part of the 57 property development.
Rifat Nadeem said: "Having been used to a large Victorian home we were really keen to find a property with ample space for the family. I must admit that we were surprised at how much room the modern homes at Suthers Court offer.
"I was keen to relocate within our local area so that the children could continue to attend the nearby schools. I also wanted a more energy efficient home and this one meets both of those needs."
Following consultation with local residents all the house types have been designed with the community’s needs in mind. Properties include two bedroom apartments and three, four and five bedroom, three storey, family homes.
Matt Ellery, sales manager with Keepmoat Homes North West, said: "We are pleased to welcome the Nadeems to Suthers Court and are confident that their move will be a happy one. We wish them every success in their new home."
