A woman has died following a collision in Cheetham Hill.

At 5pm on Wednesday 24 June, police were informed that a woman was in collision with a car on Waterloo Road.

The woman sustained serious head injuries and died at the scene.

Waterloo Road was closed at its junction with Bellott Street.

There are no further details at present and inquiries are continuing.
