SHOBNA Gulati and pupils
School for stars

PUPILS at Levenshulme High want to follow their school's example and become stars of Coronation Street.
Levenshulme has been the Street's Weatherfield Comprehensive for the last four years so when Corie's Shobna Gulati paid a visit she felt quite at home.
Shobna who plays Sunita in Britain's most popular soap opened a new drama studio at the school which aims to train soap stars of the future.
At a question and answer session the Oldham-born actress and playwright urged the girls to work hard academically to achieve their goals.
Shobna was a dedicated student herself and is an accomplished linguist speaking French, German, Hindi, Punjabi and Urdu as well as being fluent in Arabic.
