Were you in the region at the time? Did you have a lucky escape? What were your experiences? Do you want to get in touch with people back home in Britain to tell them that you are safe?

Also, are you a friend or relative of anyone who is in the disaster-hit area, and would like to appeal for them to get in touch and let you know that they are safe?

Are you planning to go to the region?

The site at www.wearefine.org is brilliant. I live in South Africa. Leaving a message was really easy and lets everybody know that I am O.K. Good Work!

America, the richest nation in the world, could do nothing to save it's own people from flooding, let us not forget.

It isn't only poor Asian countries that are at fault.

Their troops were sat idly in barracks while poor Americans drowned.

All nations need to start caring about poor people, and spending less on weapons, the UK included.

Why are there regular arms fairs for conventional weapons, instruments of torture, chemical and biological weapons taking place in Europe, regularly, every year, when poor people need money???

UK Government deals with companies such as British Aerospace, are shameful.
