Greenhill take the honours

OLDHAM'S Greenhill Primary School's football squad (pictured) snatched the silverware when they beat a young Coppice team 1-0 in a competition backed by Oldham Athletic as part of their football in the community campaign.
Other schools who took part included Alexandra, Greenhill, St Ann’s, Broadfield and Horton Mill and Coppice.
In a separate competition for years 4 and 5 St Ann' took the honours by beating Horton 1-0.
Delighted Greenhill club chairman,’ Abid Hussain, said: " I would like to thank all the schools for attending to take part in our club competition, we are a local club who let young people take part in constructive and organised competitions on a regular basis regardless of their abilities. We have an excellent relationship with all the school in the Glodwick and Coppice area."
