Yoga group points way to healthy living

AQUARIUS Yoga Foundation runs a variety of activity sessions throughout the week at its centre in Moss Mill, Woodbine Street East, Rochdale.

It is a not-for-profit organisation, which aims to promote the health benefits of yoga.

General yoga takes place from 7.30 to 9pm on Monday, 10 to 11.30am and 7 to 8.30pm on Tuesday, 5.30 to 7pm on Wednesday and 10.45am to noon on Sunday.

Yoga for beginners is 6 to 7pm on Tuesday. Power yoga is on Friday 6 to 7pm.

The centre also runs tai chi classes on a Wednesday 7 to 8.30pm and 8.30 to 10pm.

Jujitsu for juniors takes place 7 to 8pm on Thursday and 2.30 to 3.30pm on Sunday.

Senior sessions take place 8 to 9pm on Thursday and 3.30 to 4.30pm on Sunday.

Taiko drumming sessions are held every first and third Sunday of the month from 7.30 to 9.30pm.
