Pupils get in training

PRIMARY school pupils are enjoying expert football training thanks to Accrington Stanley.
The youngsters at Hyndburn Park Primary School on Park Road, Accrington, have begun workout sessions with coaches from the club as part of a programme to encourage a healthy lifestyle.
Boys and girls in Years 4, 5, and 6 will be participating in six sessions with trainers to be held over the present term.
Headteacher John Boden said: "The sessions are in addition to PE classes. We had the first one last week with Year 4 pupils and it went very well. The children really enjoyed it and got a lot out of it.’’
