TWO Manchester girls’ high schools have forged sporting links.

Levenshulme High School for Girls, which has a great sporting tradition and superb facilities with its state-of-the-art sports hall, has opened its doors to give the girls from Manchester Islamic High School for Girls (MIHSG) in Chorlton extra sporting opportunities.

Angela Towe, head of PE at Levenshulme High School for Girls on Crossley Road, said: "Both sets of girls involved got on tremendously and we are looking forward to enjoying similar days with greater sporting contact between the schools in the future."
